Suddenly all the text is missing in my webgui. The router seems to function fine, but I can’t configure anything. I tried rebooting, flashing again (but couldn’t using the webgui), and neither worked. I tried tftp but I assume the standard bin is too big to transfer that way. I’ve tried multiple browsers and computers as well, all with the same result.

Suggestions?

Use Kong's build that does not have these issues.

BS fixed that in his newest r40189
AFAIK that issue was not due to his firmware code but rather a missing module in a replaced server that does compiling for certain firmwares

OK, that gives me two options - Kong or BS. Both support my router, so what's the difference between the two?

Kong builds never have any issues like the one you just saw.

Use Kong from test folder. I am and been working great many days now.

OK, but overall functionality and features? I want stable, fast, and QoS support.

Kong test his builds. He has also fixed the QOS latency problem with the IPQ SOC.

u have an ipq806x router, and want qos. thats beyond enough to use kong builds. they're starting to get old though.. lets hope hes not done with them..
