Has been stable for 20 hours. 2.4G is set as channel 3(because too many ch1&ch11), N, forced 40M, 20db(100mw). Transmission works well to download about 5GB to USB hard-disk which connected into USB2 port.

I’m sure all of those around you appreciate you using channel 3 and 40mhz.

'appreciate'. the worst combo using overlapping channel + forcing 40mhz not only to your own wireless env but also the neighbors

solution:
- use ch 1,6,11
- 20mhz or 20/40
- beacon interval prime numbers -see below
- dtim 2,3

Thanks. Set to ch6, 20M. All others keep default.

Awkward, I get 403 (forbidden) for the whole page.
Probably I am on some blacklist with my home ip-adress.

You can still reach Kong's site thru a web proxy.
I know this one works:

Going through a VPN connection can block you.

I don't use any VPN.
@home it is a cable provider
@otherplaces it is my mobile network provider

@home I use kongpro with adblock & banip
@cell I use blokada without real vpn

Thanks for the proxy-link, this one worked

Could be a little bit too much security at longs server.

Is there some mirror? Like Google Drive, Dropbox, or any other?

8 Days with 19.07 and exclusively 5G , works like a charm, added transmission (which seems a bit buggy in 19.07, its Cpu overuse issues are the same with all my OpenWRT routers) the only strange i have noticed is the throughoutput, from LAN to Wifi is full AC (almos 40MB/sec on 66% signal) but from Wifi to LAN is almost 40% of this (15-16MB/sec) read from Samba just 17MB/sec but writing is Full 40MB/s, is this an issues or its normal?

Getting error flashing the new 07/11 19.07 build. r7800
The uploaded image file does not contain a supported format. Make sure that you choose the generic image format for your platform. Select 'Force upgrade' to flash the image even if the image format check fails. Use only if you are sure that the firmware is correct and meant for your device!

New checkbox appeared- 'force upgrade'. Check it and flash. It works

Kong will no longer maintain 18.06 builds.

Only 19.07 from now on.

Note from his changelog:
This build is now EOL. I plan no further updates.
You can seamlessly upgrade to 19.07 by using sysupgrade.bin,
reset is not required.

I didn't get this error. Mine went smoothly.
I did confirm the sha256 checksum before flashing each time.

Slidermike - I've got a similar setup to you - an R7800 as the main router, with two R7000's connected by wire as access points. All are currently running Kongs DD-WRT. Nothing special on the R7800, just DHCP Option 61 on the WAN configuration and a guest access WiFi network on a different subnet on the R7800. Would that be easy to setup on the LuCI GUI on Kongs OPenWRT? Most of the guides I have seen are using console. Also, any issues running Kong build R7000's as dumb access points connected to it?

Thanks.
