I've noticed that only one or the other seems to work... the Repeater or the Virtual Interfaces per band. (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)

Right now, I have all of my 5 GHz devices connected and operating successfully without issue, but then the DD-WRT router connects to the parent router over 2.4 GHz only (not 5 GHz as well, although the channel and speed appear under "Status"), and so none of the 2.4 GHz devices work. They don't get IP addresses and even assigning one manually provides no connectivity.

I don't know if this is a characteristic of my router in particular (ASUS RT-AC3100) or just a configuration issue, but aside from buying a separate 2.4 GHz extender that can connect over 5 GHz I'm sort of at a loss here. Laughing Confused

Is there anything that could be wrong in the configuration?
