It works. Breed Bootloader can support openwrt, dd-wrt nxt and mutation openwrt. In dd-wrt, the model of firmware had checked. It works but memory shows 64MB only.
I believe that it can support dd-wrt but it need to flash the dd-wrt firmware. After that, the router need to flash a dd-wrt bootloader such as DIR-882. The extraction needs to use telnet. If not, the dd-wrt may not support.
My DIR-882 had bricked. I also use Bios Burner flashing breed and flash openwrt mutation firmware but dd-wrt cannot use.
I have a newifi Y1 - does this work?
I use Newifi 3 with NXT DD-WRT. In the future, I will try to flash DIR-882 DD-WRT Firmware and the next step is to flash DD-WRT Bootloader. However, I need to rescue my DIR-882 first.
Which firmware did you flash? I can't find any documentation on how to get NXT onto the Newifi D2. Also, does the 5Ghz work well?
How to flash breed? I bought this router with breed but accidentally overridden it.
The bootloader can flash to blos but I had tried to flash DD-WRT rom to DIR-882 and Newifi D2. They have not work. The reason is DD-WRT firmware UBoot does not match to Breed.
You can flash Openwrt Firmware or the other third-party type of openwrt firmware but you will not enjoy dd-wrt firmware function. Actually, I hate to use open-wrt. They makes the interface very complex.
DIR-882 Official Bootloader cannot work in Newifi D2. Don't try!
DIR-882 Official Bootloader also cannot recover the dd-wrt firmware and D-link firmware. It has showed time out.
BIOS Burner is just for bootloader only!
