Hi guys.
Strange issues on 5GHz.
ath0 config is:
RadioRadio is On
ModeAP
NetworkAC/N-Mixed
Channel132 + 130 (5660 MHz VHT80)
TX Power30 dBm
Rate1300 Mb/s
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r37305 std (10/10/1
Security is:
WPA2-PSK
AES+TKIP
Android devices are connected. When I'm trying Windows devices, they connecting, but without Internet.
Troubleshooter says - Unable to get proxy settings. But DHCP is ok, everything on LAN is working perfectly.
If I start to experiment with ath0 config (like changing security mode to WPA2-3) sometimes SID for 5GHz simply not listed in visible networks. Now even Android devices unable to connect to 5GHz, even if I changing everything back.
Did you try WPA2-personal with only AES, not TKIP? That works in my environment. My understanding is that TKIP is older, less secure, and only needed for legacy device compatibility.
I've tried, and that's what worked in previous config. (But also strange. It worked for Surface, but not worked for xbox and wife's laptop.) But now I can't see 5Ghz seed in the list at all. I will try revert everything back when I will be at home.

That's a very old build that you are using. Suggest you upgrade to r40009 first. _________________ Linksys WRT32X v1 - r45677

LOL! Thank you! I suspected this, reading the forum. But when I going to download, and checking my router by model - I can find only this build
Where to download?
Web Flashed W/Chrome.

Issues; Normal reboot time. All functions working properly for use with VPN's
(DD-WRT v3.0 [Beta] Build; r36247, 37305), or r37582 Linksys-WRT3200ACM is the fastest build.
After Open VPN is enabled with UDP protocol speeds with these builds are around 140Mbps down/11-12Mbps up. DD-WRT v3.0 [Beta] Build; 36247, DD-WRT v3.0 [Beta] Build; 37305, or 11-03-2018-r37582 has the fastest internet, but with WiFi error issues at times for all builds newer, or old. The errors start usually after running several speed test back to back, device is further than 15-20', or when (RX) is high. 11-17-2018-r37736 Linksys-WRT3200ACM was the first build to have its Wireless Security options changed. This is when more WPA Algorithms options where added, and speeds went down hill from there. If you have very fast internet then you probably will have no worries installing the newest Beta Builds. Those of us that only can run 200Mbps down, and 10Mbps up, or lower are the ones that suffer. 75-85Mbps, while upload is around 10Mbps after UDP OpenVPN is enabled with newer builds . Still WiFi errors with all new builds especially with Note 8 (Only improving error count in new builds). ISP router IP is still showing up in active clients (IP Address eth0), and this started with build r37582. Unable to keep DNS 3 at default 0.0.0.0 with all builds. DNS 3 should have the ability to default to 0.0.0.0, or be disabled. Would just like to see the speeds of old builds in the new builds so that me, and others could stay with the newest, and greatest that have slower internet. Erase nvram works, but doesn't return flash erased message back in telnet with builds past r37932. Well maybe it works. Good luck with the newer builds.
Removed TKIP. Also turned off RTS/CTS. Now 5 Ghz connecting on 170 mbps, what is good. Saved this config - will experiment later.
Most importand thing, in the new buils they have a lots of SNMP data. Feeding my telegraf with it.
PS4, at least original - has only 2.4 GHz wifi. I wish greedy Sony to die. But sadly - they will continue to spread cancer. Xbox one - has 2.4-5 Ghz wifi. But I connected my XBX by Ethernet cable, so now I can WOL it, and play from work
