Hey all, new to posting here but always been my guide when I was stuck with an issue.
I'm currently running r34311 on a Linksys WRT1900ACS V2 (had to check online but on the bottom of the router it does say V2) and wanting to upgrade to the latest version. I've read the sticky about upgrading, however when I flash the file, it always comes back saying upgrade failed. I've seen a post mentioning that the file it too big >35mb but unsure if this is the exact reason. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
DD-WRT is currently on partition 2 and I successfully switched back to the original linksys partition today and then back to DD-WRT to make sure I had a backup.
The >32MB flash size problem should only be seen when flashing from stock to dd-wrt.
Once running dd-wrt, you can flash to the latest builds with bigger sizes (latest around 37MB). I've gone from 34311 to the recent builds a few times.
Only thing I can suggest is try using another browser to flash (don't use chrome). I've used firefox successfully. _________________

I've installed from factory to 38159 successfully several times in your model router, so I know that release is OK for the smaller partition (number 2). From there I've webflashed without incident to 39144. _________________ 2x Netgear XR500 and 3x Linksys WRT1900ACSv2 on 53544: VLANs, VAPs, NAS, station mode, OpenVPN client (AirVPN), wireguard server (AirVPN port forward) and clients (AzireVPN, AirVPN, private), 3 DNSCrypt providers via VPN.
