Turning on beamforming will help, but you're never going to get anywhere close to 1.3Gb/s. That's the theoretical maximum speed under perfect conditions. Real-world throughput is going to be less than half that.

For your 5Ghz wifi, do you have a 160MHz channel width option on the router? That is probably why you see the difference. You currently have it set to 80MHz, the cable provided wifi is probably doing 160MHz
Estimado d0ug
WRT1900ACV2 max 80 MHz
But Cable modem channel width settings is 80 MHz too

Dear
Could you post your Wi-Fi settings and your maximum speeds connections to the 5GHz network? To compare it with my configurations. I have a WRT1900AC V2. I only get 866 Mbps.

Hi,
I have wrt-1900ac v2 and 1gb symmetric internet. I'm planning to flash dd-wrt firmware but I have a question.
At this time my maximum wifi speed is 430Mb/sec but lan speed is 940 Mb/sec. Will dd-wrt firmware increase my wifi speed or not? Thank you
