So the interesting part is if someone can recommend or fill this thread with recommendations and settings to use.
This is what i could find online:
1. Scheduling the router to turn off wi-fi automatically (example when we sleep)
2. Decreasing the wi-fi transmission power.
3. Decreasing the "pulse" interval
(i dont know whow to do this)
Quote:
"Beacon Interval" can be set to 1000 or 2000ms, so in standby, it will only emit one pulse per second or per two seconds, instead of 10 pulses per second which is the default. This alone reduces radiation by 90%+ when in standby.
The microwave oven is typically minute(s) timeframe.

Probably, the thing to do is take aim at the battery saving techniques and settings for phones and tablets. Mainly relevant to 2.4ghz wifi, just make the mobile batteries last longer, then there's about 6x Less wifi congestion/pollution, and the job is done. There are some really relevant router settings for that purpose.
Long duration of 2.4ghz at point blank range can cause a mild optic nerve irritation headache; so I think that the #1 fix is: Move it off the desk.
Simple mistake meets easy fix.
A more rare case is a combination of smart-house with many 2.4ghz clients and a router with the wake-locks problem. However, fixing the really bad performance probably will fix that other problem too.
