I have set up a PPTP VPN Server in DD-WRT and is able to establish a connection just fine.. I am able to contact LAN IP's over the VPN, but unable to browse the internet through the VPN connection.. Should I be? Or is additional setup required?

Did you use the same IP network for the PPTP server as the local network? IOW, if the local network is 192.168.1.0/24, is the PPTP server configured to use a range of client IPs (e.g., 192.168.1.200-299) from that same IP network?

Yes.

Lan = 192.168.0.x
PPTP = 192.168.1.2-10

Btw, the modem is on 192.168.1.100, in case that matters. DD-WRT router is 192.168.0.1.

Well according to your last post, the PPTP server and local network are NOT the same. The former is 192.168.1.x, the latter is 192.168.0.x.

You can use different networks (although I don't recommend it), but then you have to NAT that PPTP network over the WAN.

Code:
WAN_IF="$(ip route | awk '/^default/{print $NF}')"
iptables -t nat -I POSTROUTING -s 192.168.1.0/24 -o $WAN_IF -j MASQUERADE

Great, thanks for your help.. I changed the VPN IP to be on the same subnet as the rest of the LAN, and it worked.
