I currently run an american V4 Archer C9 on my setup, my warranty finally voided so i tried to install DD-WRT in many ways into it and its just not having it, it doesn't allow me to upgrade the stock firmware with DD-WRT, i lost some good 4 hours trying to upgrade it.
I'm thinking about just giving up on it and getting something else entirely, a D-Link DIR-890L to be precise.
I've had 2 D-Links running DD-WRT in the past and i currently run DD-WRT on my DIR-868L that serves a wireless access point at my bedroom, so i know my way with DD-WRT on D-Link routers.
I know the DIR-890L is discontinued but the price is very attractive, barely a little more than new C9s.
Should i get one of those?
