Updated WRT1200AC v1 from r39296 to r39800 with no reset, no issues using Waterfox 56.2.6 (64 bit) Up-time 45+ minutes Usual OpenVPN client yellows in syslog. No reds at all with this release.

Last few releases have given me OpenVPN client frag drops within minutes of update. None with this release along with a faster browsing speed. So much faster than before the update that I'm still clicking on sites to convince myself the release improved load speed as much as it seems.

Wired, wireless,OpenVPN client, DNSMasq and VPN passthru (Corp VPN passes thru OpenVPN Client) working as expected with no wired/wireless or OpenVPN drops noticed after update. Anyone else seeing a speed increase?

Defiantly a speed increase in browsing that hesitation is gone. So far the firmware looks good on my end.

Webflashed all routers with IE11, no reset.

Upgrade on remote routers via WiFi, no problems.

Due to some problems with recent flashes and redundant NVRAM values causing strange problems, Access restrictions not working, 1900 V1 temperatures running amok and causing reboots, ADSL connection failing after reboot, etc., I added a few extra steps to the upgrade;

After the successful webflash, immediately take a backup, then Restore the same backup and reboot. Following these extra steps all routers appear to be running properly and no hiccups as yet.

I have tried in the past to do full reset and NVRAM clear to prevent strange problems from appearing, but this was an extensive upgrade and am trying out the newly tested steps.

Web update w/FF 6.0.5x64. Much longer reboot than normal. Router came up normally and all functions working as expected.

Running a WRT32X, I can also confirm a speed increase with this build. Web surfing is a somewhat subjective experience, but several of the usual sites I visit on a daily basis "feel" a bit snappier... On the more objective side of things, TestMy.net reports strong results and Speedtest.Net returned the fasted result I have EVER recorded with this router, about 1.5% faster on the very first test.

Clean looking System Log also with only the usual yellows on the VPN.

WRT1900AC V1. Webflash using Firefox, did not reset settings. Up 1 hr 43 minutes, no issues. Speedtest on the router reports 15MBPS, which is the rated speed for my service.

This is the best update so far since the last build in end of March 19. I no longer have DHCP/DNS issues with the TPlink router in client bridge mode. Had issues with all the ddwrt builds in April 19.

Has anyone else noticed that the Remaining Lease Time, which is found on Status -> WAN ->Configuration Type, is set to 0 days 00:00:00, even though the router is set to receive an IP via DHCP?

Confirmed. I see the zeros also. Looks like a minor display bug

Is the "Encrypt DNS" enable button that sets up DNSCrypt still missing from the DNSMasq section in Services>Services, like it has been in the last several releases? If so, does anyone know whether it's missing in just in the Marvell routers or whether it's missing for all router models? Has anyone (who has a clue how, unlike me) considered reporting it as a bug to see if it can get fixed/restored?

I do notice that DNSCrypt is still proudly announced as a new feature in the optional new-features block at the top of the Status>SysInfo page. Doesn't really suggest that it is an intentional feature removal.

A few versions back someone checked and found that /etc/dnscrypt/dnscrypt-resolvers.csv and /usr/sbin/dnscrypt-proxy were still there, even though the enable button was gone. That doesn't sound like feature removal either.

WRT1900AC V1, build v3.0-r39800 std (05/15/19). I also don't see DNSCrypt on the Services->Services, DNSMasq section; there is DNSSEC, though, which I've just enabled.
