Hello,

I have been running build 35550M without issues for iptv/multicast. I tried latest BS And Kong builds (39715) and i see high TX errors on the wireless interfaces.

I noticed that optimize multicast option under wireless has been replaced by multicast to unicast on newer builds, has it also changed the way it works? Or is the issue caused by a change on IGMP Snooping?

well i flashed BS build 40559 and the above issue still continues.

lots of tx errors on both wireless interfaces.

i tested on both R7000P and R6300v2, same problem. flashing back to 35550M fixes the transmission errors.

what i used to do to get iptv working on ddwrt on build 35550M:

- enable optimize multicast traffic for both wireless interfaces
- enable IGMP Snooping
- reboot
all is well

on build 40559, there is no option to optimize multicast traffic, instead, the option is now called multicast to unicast, so i do the following:

- enable multicast to unicast for both wireless interfaces
- enable IGMP Snooping
- reboot

and this results in high wireless tx errors and GUI pages load slow after boot.
