default password for ssid dd-wrt when locked after default

hello

odd one here tonight.. but anyways one of my routers had a hickup of sorts.

aparently it has defaulted to an ssid of 'dd-wrt'

and after preforming a reset with the reset button it does not reset either..

what is the default password for the router after this happens..

i did recall reading something of this sometime before. but it has been along time ago and forget how to reset the issue.

RE: default WiFi password... use the one that's printed on your router's serial number sticker.

1) do not panic at 1am 2) it can be fixed in the morning 3) it is not a brick at now at 1am 4) no key fits the lock 5) there is no back door 6) it was fixed by 2am 7) go to sleep.

i will post the answer in the morning..

i fixed it and took a couple minutes to figure out how to get back in..

the router was very stable in the wild for some time.. i live next to a parking garage and we use this daily.

regardless it seems to have reset. in doing so.. the wifi went to an password required.. not to can it can not be done. but Whyyyy does this happen.. is anyones guess or clue.

it is a netgear ex6200.. its like a mascot of the house so we calls it the chiapet.. its running over 1000 days in use..overall..
