I suppose you could flash a few thousand times before the NAND became dead....

Honestly, public betas should be released once a month. I guess there's not enough testers of nightly builds anymore...
It really depends on manpower and whether changes involved security.
Broadcom MIPS is getting little to no attention in revisions. It's pretty much a moot point unless it's something that affects all builds globally (dnsmasq, busybox, etc.). So, not much point in flashing the same sh*t with a new revision number over and over and over.

Any capable kernel programmers here? Wanna join operation DD-WRT in your leisure?
Do you need to sign NDA before reading Broadcom matters within DD-WRT? Now that'll be a major challenge....

Router/Version: Linksys E1200v2
File: dd-wrt.v24-39296_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega-e1200v2.bin
Previous: DD-WRT v3.0-r36596 mega (08/14/18)
Kernel: Linux 3.10.108-d8 #23726 Wed Mar 27 15:17:12 CET 2019 mips
Mode: Going to be set up as a client
Status: Going from an old mega -> to newer mega build (this one) made the VLANS all go to vlan0, thus making all the ports not work. I connected via WiFi just fine and changed the ports to vlan1 and the internet port to vlan2 and all works now. The newer builds you can go from mega to mega, but it seems older builds you have to go from mega -> mini -> same ver. mega. This is of course a E1200v2, nothing special, but got it fixed. _________________ Deployed Routers:

Also, probably the reason why the other E-series devices vlans are fubar'd is the single-band models like that one. An E4200v1 shouldn't have a vlan0, but it does....
Router/Version: DIR-868L Rev A
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r39296 std (03/27/19)
Kernel: Linux 4.4.177 #4 SMP Wed Mar 27 08:40:31 CET 2019 armv7l
Previous: ?
Mode/Status: Gateway / working
Reset: yes
Issues/Errors: Crash after a few days
Updated three days ago, restored to factory defaults, setup NTP, OpenVPN, disabled all Wireless. Wireless performed by external PowerLine adapters.
This morning my devices couldn't get an address over WIFI. Connected laptop via ethernet directly to DIR-868L, router non-responsive. HTTPS down, as well as SSH - telnet and HTTP disabled by me. Set address as static, still no reach to router. Power cycled and everything is up and running again.
