I think it deserves an exclusive thread to introduce R39290 for TP-WR1043ND v1,
since so many (maybe......) its owners wish some day there would be a working update for it.

Now here is it. After couple days of frustrated works on another failed old system, I decided to find something cheering me up.

Saw another releases, downloaded & zipped as usual to evaluate the possibility to fit it into ROM, wow, it's so small even smaller than R36104 (decreased almost 500KB), so I decide another trial.

Webflash, failed as I thought, so kept trying TFTP trick.
Wala! It works!
With the saved NVRAM of R36104 it's still working.

Have your trial on TP-WR1043ND v1, we have nothing to lose Very Happy
I also tried to compare the compressed size of R39230 & R39267, I guess maybe the R39267 would work for v1, too.

Hi,
Can you point me to the TFTP upgrade instructions ? I have a very old firmware installed "DD-WRT v24SP2- (03/25/13) std", and am looking for a way to move to newer one.
10x.
