Cannot connect 3rd generation Nest with R7000

Hi,
I just bought a Nest 3rd generation IoT thermostat and I have issues connecting it to my R7000 with DD-WRT. I have about a dozen other wireless devices that just connect fine, however the Nest cannot connect to the network.

I tried the following:
1. Connect both 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks
2. Change to wireless channel from Auto to fixed channel (6)
3. Changed the DD-WRT settings for the following:

UDP Timeout 3600s
Beacon Interval 221ms
DTIM 3

I still cannot get it to connect, does anyone have any ideas?

The R7000 is a Broadcom. Please post in the Broadcom forum. I'm sure you will get help there.

I have installed this in my device but due to some error in it, I have faced the problems of losing the data when
Data Recovery Dubai actually helped me a lot n getting the lost data. But I would like to know about the proper guidelines for the setup.
