Kong's DD-WRT test build DD-WRT v3.0-r38570M kongac (02/04/19) has been released: http://desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/TEST/

This build gives frequent GUI crashes, better wait with using this build. Fix is underway

Changes see: https://svn.dd-wrt.com//

Problems and workarounds:
1) When VAP is not working at boot; workaround startup command:
sleep 10; stopservice nas; stopservice wlconf; startservice wlconf; startservice nas;
2) Aternative way to get VAP working: https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=317181

Your reports for Broadcom units are greatly appreciated !

This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 29440_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build.

GUI was not responding, had to telnet into my router and do:
stopservice httpd
startservice httpd

On the bright site, when the GUI responds it is lightning fast

Then most likely same issue as the one seen with the previous IPQ builds, where a little patch seems to have fixed it.

Ah, thanks! I check http://ddwrt-kong.clonevince.fr once a week or so to see if there's a new release, and the latest listed there is 38570.

Clearly I shouldn't rely as much on the clonevince repo.

How would I find out the changelog between the version I'm currently on
def one I got from kong's test folder - ddwrt reports it as "DD-WRT v3.0-r38326 std (01/18/19)"

and kong's latest test build discussed above

dd-wrt.K3_R7000.chk 2019-02-05 22:42

the changelog file doesn't seem to exist any more in http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/

thank you
