Hi Folks,

I've searched the forum and couldn't find anything so I've started a thread for the TP-Link Archer C5400.

My understanding is that it is running a Broadcom BCM4709C. Is there any possibility that support can be added for this model?

If a unit is donated to the developers.

Same question -- it would be really great if we can install DD-WRT on the Archer C5400. I'm hoping to configure the router with a VPN connection to third-party providers so every device on the network is protected.

Currently, TP-LINK lets us create OpenVPN certificates with the Archer C5400 but lacks any "upload certificate" features to connect to third-party VPN services. In case it's helpful to anyone, here's a blog article I recently published, "Is OpenVPN Safe?" which sparked my interest in DD-WRT on my routers.

Very Happy

For giggles. There is V1 and V2:

https://wikidevi.wi-cat.ru/TP-LINK_Archer_C5400_v2.x

I haven't seen any development for this particular device ....

EDIT 11.17.23: updated wikidevi links, and now, there is a third device in the family

Same here. I was on TP-Links page, and noticed that the GPL code is there. Could this be used to create a DD-WRT firmware package?

Code here: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-c5400/#GPL-Code

hello,

We have many routers of this Archer C5400 v2.0 model spread across Brazil.

Has anyone got DD-WRT for this device?
