Not a whinge, clearly lots of good work happening here, but any sign of access restrictions working again?

Is it me, or did this last update improve speed? My response time for everything from DNS queries to web page loading seems quicker. I checked my connection and my raw speed has not changed.

I don't have any proof, but yes, ping times from a wifi client to the access point, as well as through the wap/router out to the internet seem snappier. Also jitter is lower - multiple speedtests from multiple devices are handled smoothly with ping times out to the internet showing very little variance.

I was running 38570 for 33 days, then upgraded to 39101 for a couple days, then 39137 for a day, and now just upgraded and tested 39144. I'm not sure when these improvements happened, but 39144 looks fantastic at this early stage (4 hours uptime). Smooth upgrade - no issues.

Linksys WRT3200ACM: gateway mode, DNSMasq for DNS and DHCP, OpenVPN client (Mullvad), Firewall enabled, QoS enabled, PBR enabled (SFE disabled). WIFI: 2.4ghz: G-only, 20mhz channel width, channel 1, WPA2-CCMP-128. 5ghz: AC/N mixed, 80mhz channel width, channel 100+6, WPA2-CCMP-128.

Linksys WRT1900ACS: router mode, hardwired ethernet lan to WRT3200ACM above. WIFI: 2.4ghz: G-only, 20mhz channel width, channel 6, WPA2-CCMP-128. 5ghz: AC/N mixed, 80mhz channel width, channel 52+6, WPA2-CCMP-128.

WRT3200ACM 5GHz VHT160 still doesn't work and I need to choose my channel on HT80 now. 2.4GHz works fine, everything else appears to be ok.

VHT160 works fine on the 3200. You need to be careful of your channel selection and extensions. Availability depends on your region.

For my purposes I use channel 100 UUU(+14)
Take a look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels
to better understand availability.

WRT3200ACM V3 r39144 Firefox 65.0.2 (64-bit) webflash

OpenVPN CLIENT works fine (nordvpn server)
5GHz wpa2 CCMP-128 (AES)working fine 20MHz Mixed
2.4GHz wpa2 CCMP-128 (AES)working fine 20MHz Mixed
NAS via USB Samba also working fine

*** NOTE ***
Still unable to flash to my Buffalo WZR-HP-AG300H for those interested. Still on v3.0-r38581 std (02/06/19)

Should I assume that support for the wzr-hp-ag300h is over since its been quite some time since it would flash?

One thing that I've noticed in the latest builds is that link quality has dropped due to the inability to enable noise immunity if previously disabled. In fact, a good number of options disappeared in the latest releases including setting which compression method to use for wireless packets, radar detection, and antenna chains. These all exist on the near-useless Ath2, but Ath0 and Ath1 were Nerfed.

Router is WRT3200ACM

Looks like BrainSlayer worked on this recently after this release. See ticket https://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/6586

To help BS a bit (and the community), could you, please, indicate what the last build is, in which these options were still available?

It'll do some digging, but I can try.
I know it was in the "suggested" build when I first flashed it, but it's been a while and I'll have to narrow it down by flashing older versions.

I am definitely not the one who can help you further once you have found the build in question. I am too new to DD-WRT for that. But my hope is that there is someone else who can give you more helpful info at that stage.
