Also: possible alternate on DD-WRT website.

Changelogs:
SVN Changelog: Since last build: 38347
Summary: (deprecated after 29739)

Notes:
1. SFE accelerated NAT is in 33006+ builds but only in kernel 3.10 and newer
2. krack fixes for Broadcom were completed in r33678, including k26 (33655) & k24 (33656); use build 33772 or later.
3. Bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work in some configurations in certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Use client or repeater instead as WDS doesn't work with Broadcom ARM either (see Issue #4 below).
4. R6400v2 support added in r36811-36818, 36825, and 36826. R6700v3 support added in r36828-36840.

Tickets closed as 'fixed' (Broadcom-related and general): -

Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
1. (egc) Policy-Based Routing broken if SFE enabled: http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/5900
quarkysg's PBR+SFE fix: http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/5986
2. Trendnet 81*DRU models are missing factory-to-flash
3. DNScrypt is mostly only using v2 protocols now, but requires Golang that DD can't use:
http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/6246
4. WDS does not work on ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS)
5. VAPs not working at boot (k3.10?); workaround startup command:
sleep 10;stopservice nas;stopservice wlconf;startservice wlconf;startservice nas

Important: if any issues are found, please provide log info (GUI syslog, `dmesg`, `cat /var/log/messages`).
Or put into SVN ticket. For firewall issues, also provide "iptables" info (`iptables -L`, `iptables -t nat -L`, & the /tmp/.ipt file).

Status: Unusable WEBGUI Fails to load. It does boot though. Tried Firefox and Chrome to access Webgui.

Do not expect to configure it once you load 38381 into this one. This may effect other broadcom routers.

I had to revert back to older version using a TTL USB device and PuTTY.

Not surprised that the K2.6 build(s) are broken more now than they were already. Did you try the K3X build?

Can anyone confirm that WiFi 5GHz is working on TP-Link Archer C7 v5 with this version of firmware?

Opened ticket 6537. Unable to flash R36381 MEGA to WRT54G-TM. Had to revert back to R38347 MEGA. Tried twice. Had to use tftp2.exe to restore router to working state each time.
Posted this here at the request of egc112. Rgds,DaveI

UPDATE: Ticket CLOSED. R38507 successfully flashed to WRT54G-TM.

The 320N took this k3.x build just fine. I had to manually reboot it since it failed to do so on its own and it came back up with a working WEBGUI with this firmware. I remember reading that it ran cooler with less issues on the k2.6 kernel. It seems not to be the case now.

Router/Version: Cisco-Linksys EA2700
File: dd-wrt-38381-ea2700.trx
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r38381M giga (01/24/19)
Kernel: Linux 3.10.108-d8 #22693 Thu Jan 24 22:54:27 CET 2019 mips
CPU: Broadcom BCM5357 chip rev 2
CPU Features: MIPS32r1 MIPS32r2 MIPS16 DSP DSP2
CPU Frequency: 480 MHz
Mode: Gateway/AP
TCP Congestion Control: Westwood
Status: Laggy or short-period hang

Still the same problem as the previous build r38347.

Now it become only the problem of wifi signals again, could respond very slowly, around from 30s to 1min without any responses. The hang time of wifi unexpectedly a little bit shorter than the previous builds half year ago.

I found that happens the most when the most connections was establishing or just many physical LAN clients boot or connect at nearly the same time, e.g. 2 or 3 ethernet connected PC was booting up and 3 to 5 mobile phones enabled the same wifi connectivity almost at the same time. It makes whatever wifi, wired ethernet or even router WebGui (router httpd server) all of them have no responeses at the same time, so I guess that should be some types of problems or bugs in the very kernel level codes or even something like "Hardware Abstraction Layer".

Another interesting point is, it happens only when the connections are linking out to the internet world, especially when some new connections newly the first time query a domain name of an address. Could it be some types of problems related to DNS? I never get this problems when connecting to just LAN in house, e.g. remote controlling my audio PC from my phone, or just connecting to anywhere by IP address only, without any domain named address, it always go through smooth like flying anytime, never hang or lag, always respond.

And I guess there might be some thread blocking problems, TCP Congestion Control problems or even deadlocks in multi-threading programming. Especially when some BT programs just started in the network, started connecting to a load of tracker servers, and reconnect again in polling way frequently (guys may know what I'm talking about if they use BT sometimes as well), other connections whatever TCP or UDP may hang even for several minutes. So I guess there might be some problems of system or even hardware overloading as well, but I did not monitor for that long time in the WebGui.

Another quite annoying problem is, I can't choose the reset option when upgrading firmware. When I choose 'Reset to defaults after flash' when upgrading, the router bricked, nothing responds in the WebGui until forever, no wifi and ethernet responses anymore, so I had to made a hard-reset (hold the reset button for 30s when power on, 30s when power off and 30s when power on again with no releasing) to restore the router back. But that was alright when I just upgrade without reset, I can go back to the WebGui with newer version of firmware, and the manual reset after that from the WebGui was fine as well.

Update 2: I found this problem in wifi usually happens more in some formats of media downloading, e.g. image or video, much more than text types transmissions like caption or item paragraphs downloading. Text is much smoother and faster than image or video downloading. So I guess the possibility of some bugs in TCP Congestion Controls, WME or WMM, is quite high, much more possible than others maybe.

Update 3: I found one more interesting phenomenon, that is, when my phone is keeping in sleep, wifi connected from my phone hang with no any responses more frequently, but when I keep using my phone in my hands for one to several hours, wifi connection hang much less frequently, with shorter hang time. Rolling Eyes Confused

Update 4: One more interesting phenomenon found since r38142. The hang problem in wifi seems more serious in webpage loading or anything "page types" loading from internet than any other text type transmissions like whatsapp or messenger. Loading web pages or any "page type" things usually hang more often than other text type or command type transfer, especially in my android phone, but less this problems in the wifi of my Windows 10 laptop. I wonder why. Confused

Update 5: Again, the connectivity of my Android phone to the DD-WRT router is better when the phone is keeping in awake status with monitor keeping on and fingers touching on the monitor. When the android phone is locked, is sleeping and the multitouch monitor turned off, wifi connectivity from the android phone to DD-WRT EA2700 hang much more frequently, hang longer time, without any responses neither from the phone or from EA2700. The situation of this problem from the ACER Windows 10 laptop to DD-WRT EA2700 seems a little bit better.

Update 6: Since the build r38347, it seems like all hangs and lags of the WebGui were gone, every page loaded from WebGui was smooth and fast, good job guys! Very Happy And it seems as if I still couldn't find any hangs or lags in ethernet connections, I will still monitor about that.

Update 7: Now I'm trying the auto channel of wifi in DD-WRT, it become dual-channel. It shows me "6 + 4" 2 ch are in used now. wifi hangs and lags seem a little better now but they are still existed. Sometimes when the wifi connectivity hang, my phone was trying to disconnect the wifi connection and switch to another channel, or maybe I'm wrong.... Shocked Confused huh...... Anyway wifi hangs and lags are still existed. It seems better when my phone is keeping in used in my hands, and worse when I put down my phone and let it sleep. It seems worse in the older models of phone and better in the newer models of phone.

Router/Version: Asus RT-N18U

Kernel: 4.4.171 #4511
Mode: gateway, accesspoint
Status: minor issues

#1:
CPU overclock option doesn't work. No matter the setting, CPU is at 800 MHz. CPU temperature when idle: 68°C.
There is a "High Temperature (FAN On)" option in Services tab, but this router doesn't have a fan.

#2:
USB automatic drive mount works, but always mounts partition to /tmp/mnt/sda1. UUID to mount at /opt doesn't work.

#3:
Adding static DHCP leases doesn't work. After saving/applying the settings, the page shows empty fields. Trying to add leases again leads to a duplicate error.

#4:
dmesg doesn't show all kernel messages. The first messages from the top are gone. Increase buffer maybe?

#5:
As parco said, wireless hangs sometimes. Happend twice today. I'm trying to test different settings to isolate the problem.

I believe Asus' stock firmware for RT-N18U had this similar problem! You could only add 3 entries, then those entries disappeared after reboot.

when you cannot add static DHCP that means that your enteries are bogus... (from my expirience)...

I have around ten static DHCP leases and it's working just fine with r38155. Have not tested on r38381 though.

Try this for static leases:
