Bought brand new DIR-819....AC750 ...according to DD-WRT hardware list, has same chipset as DIR-810L.

Followed all instructions and Peacock info, FAQ's etc., forums.....followed detailed instructions from :

http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=72749.0

Downloaded 2019 files from Brainslayer for DIR-810 rev.1

Factory to DD-WRT.bin
webflash bin..

mac using safari and developer setting as IE 11 etc....followed step by step instructions....has not bricked router as I can still go back to OEM admin page via Http:http://192.168.0.1 and logging in

No status bar....when flashing DD-wrt i get warning:

"LAN IP address or Netmask change will result in failure of accessing this router. If you changed the AP address of the AP, you should release and renew PC's IP for the succedent configuration.
Waiting time: 110 seconds"

Nothing else happens and I can still get back in via http://192.168.0.1

I am using ethernet hook up via MacBook pro...safari...developer setup as IE 11.....doing flash on router right out of the box.....not hooked up to current network....just powered....and ethernet connection to laptop....loading most recent firmware from Brainslayer v.1 for DIR-810L in 2019 folder .....loading DD-WRT from factory before trying web flash....etc. just like in instructions.

Router is right out of box....never connected...

Your router is not supported at this time and probably never will be.

It doesn’t matter. If it’s not in the supported router list, then it’s not supported.
Many models share the same specs, yet aren’t supported.
