Trying to install Entware. Doesn't work because WGET doesn't work.
Code:
root@Penny:~# cd /opt
root@Penny:/opt# wget http://bin.entware.net/mipssf-k3.4/installer/generic.sh
Connecting to bin.entware.net (81.4.123.217:80)
root@Penny:/opt#
Did some searching and some have stated that WGET echoes nothing when called these days. If that's the case, how do I know that it worked or that it didn't?
Otherwise, nobody seems to know what the issue is.

Having a similar issue, but no response from WGET.
Code:
root@Mr Routy:~# cd /opt
root@Mr Routy:/opt# wget http://bin.entware.net/mipssf-k3.4/installer/generic.sh
root@Mr Routy:/opt# sh generic.sh
sh: can't open 'generic.sh': No such file or directory
I fixed it on my end. As it turned out, there was either something wrong with the ext2 formatting on my USB volume or with the way it was mounted. I'm not sure which. I used my old Lubuntu build to reformat it again before plugging it back in to the router and ensuring that it mounted properly to /opt. WGET started to work again.
