Hey!

I'm just wondering if "ddup --flash-latest" is planned on being brought back to the Netgear 4600 or if this thing has reach some kind of End of Life with DD-WRT support. It looks like there's still images being released for it, so I'm not really sure what's preventing --flash-latest from seeing them.

Code:
DD-WRT v3.0-r36070M kongac (c) 2018 NewMedia-NET GmbH
Release: 05/31/18

BusyBox v1.28.4 (2018-05-31 11:07:38 CEST) built-in shell (ash)

root@router:~# ddup --flash-latest
Auto update for the Netgear R6400 is currently not supported.

You can edit your post (it now says 4600 and you probably mean 6400)

My R6400v1 can still use DDUP but I am on Kong's latest test build already.

It could have something to do with the fact that the R6400 no longer exists.
It is either an R6400v1 or an R6400v2, so I expect that if you update manually to the latest test build (I am using it and it works fine) that it works from there on again.

Thanks for pointing out my typo. Fixed.

OK, so according to

Code:
root@router:~# nvram get board_id
U12H332T00_NETGEAR

That would make my board the V1 (judging on what I can find in the forums). That would mean I want the webflash from here:

ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2018/10-10-2018-r37305/netgear-r6400/

?

To be sure check underside of the router, v2 has R6400v2 on it.

You can use the directory you mentioned, but that is a BrainSlayer version, I would use Kong's (only he has the DDUP): http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/TEST/

R6400 (both v1 and v2) take the following file:
dd-wrt.v24-K3_AC_ARM_STD_128K.bin

Just as a precaution, reset to defaults before flashing.
Upgrade by using the GUI do not reset.
After upgrading telnet to your router and do:
Code:
erase nvram
reboot

Put settings in manually never restore from a backup

Ah poop. You're right. I did link to the "wrong" version (BS vs Kong). Again, thanks for pointing out my goof... Embarassed

Thank you!
