Hi all,
I was hoping it would be possible to run a version of DD-WRT on this Japanese market router. Per WikiDevi, this is the information on it:
FCC ID: NDD9568791701
PCB ID: 1244-01001091-50Z
CPU: MediaTek MT7621A
Memory: 128MB RAM, 128MB Flash
WiFi chip: MediaTek MT7615E
Ethernet chip: MediaTek MT7621A

This router has been rather annoying to use, requiring almost daily restarts in particular because the 2.4 GHz network stops taking connections for some reason. It's had a few firmware updates from Asus, but I get the sense that because it's a Japan-only model, it doesn't get much attention from the support team. Before replacing it, I'd like to see if DD-WRT provides a more stable experience. |
