I'm guessing this is an nvram issue, but last night my WRT1900ac v1 r36168 started prompting for a web password repeatedly. I *HAVE NOT* flashed to latest build yet, planned to do that tonight - clear nvram and re-flash. I was running a r366xx build but had issues with wifi and smb file sharing performance and went back to r36168.
I can ssh in and

And re-gain web access temporarily, but if I make any change or wait a few minutes it starts re-prompting again.
I've attempted to use the encrypted http_passwd from nvram and that also will not allow me to login. Only a blank password seems to let me in via HTTP. HTTPS has not been enabled. |
