Hi,
I know this is not DD-WRT related but i have a Version 2 Netgear D7000 router only 4 months old that i purchased 2nd hand from ebay, it worked fine for 6 weeks now i have no Wi-Fi being broadcast,
I've tried updating and downgrading firmware to no avail, obviously Netgear don't want to honer the warranty as its none transferable even though the serial number shows hardware still covered.
I've tried a 30-30-30 reset also but this no longer seems to reset the router? nothing seems to change. holding the reset in for 8 seconds does a factory reset but i was hoping to do a deeper reset on the nvram.
My thoughts were to try a serial connection and reset the nvram from putty and flash it from putty hoping this may bring them back to life or do you guys feel its a waste of time and its a hardware issue like on the r8500?
i can seem read it with the serial but no CFE with Ctrl-C. From memory i get RFX (i will try it again later but thought i would ask on here as i know you guys are the most knowledgeable around.
thanks for any input you may have
