Checksum - Is it still used

wrt3200acm:

How is checksum done to verify firmware download.

I read in old FAQ that it's built into the web GUI and the installation will error if it doesn't match.

Is this statement still true or can you tell me where to get the latest checksums.

I asked the same question a few months ago. Someone told me that Brainslayer's builds doesn't have any way to validate software integrity. Kong builds on the other hand supports software validation.

Sorry to post again. Thanks for the link to your post. It's to bad we can't have this capability make me feel much better knowing nothing happened on the download that might corrupt my install.
