I'm starting to wonder why these ath10k firmware releases aren't making it into mainline linux-firmware, looks like it has been about 6 months since they upstreamed it.

*Update:
- hmm this is new, never had errors with my ath0 5ghz before... not sure if that means it now does report errors properly or it now causes errors. Anyone else had actually seen errors before this build?
- also rt crashed running dmesg command, worked the second time connected to it
