Hello all
I just upgraded my Netgear WG602 v4, all steps done
Now I can’t login 192.168.1.1 to configure router!
When I search for wifi got SSID dd-wrt(I tried 192.168.1.1 over cable)
If i ping 192.168.0.227 got destination host unreadable!
Give your workstation a static ip address on the 192.168.1.x network (e.g. 192.168.1.20). to give yourself any chance of connecting to 192.168.1.1.
Similarly, without doing some special configuration you will only be able to successfully ping the address 192.168.0.227 from a device with an ip address on the 192.168.0.x network.
.... so, I would probably suggest you do some research on which micro builds are and aren't broken and try a TFTP flash / recover from a bad flash (linked at the bottom of that wiki page)....
I would probably try reading the first three threads entirely, too. I don't know which micro build to recommend as a de-facto go-to, you should look through the build threads for 33772 and up..... but the starting point for the older devices is 14929....
If you can connect to your device with putty (ssh connection) you can see if webgui is enabled or enable it by running commands listed on those pages I linked to.
Got this from the WEB INTERFACE WIKI
Code:
Locally
If for some reason you completely lost web access to the router, the web server (HTTP daemon) may be shut down. To regain access try starting the web server. SSH or telnet into the router and enter the following commands:
httpd -h /www
To connect through secure HTTP, add the option -S at the end of the command.
