Hey guys...

Trying to figure out if something is possible... and if so... how... and if so, has someone done this with a decent amount of success?

Basically, Im looking to build a "MESH" network (WDS) with a bunch of Broadcom based routers I have that are all running DD-WRT. I also have a DDWRT x86 wired router driving the network. I'd like to set it up so that the X86 still acts as the router and the primary "gateway" for the other access points.

Ive set up a wireless WDS system using the 5 routers I have, but it lagged really badly, and I lost the ability to log into some of the routers on the network. Im sure that the failure is mine in doing something or not checking a tick box that I should have... Ive tried it 3 times now with the same lackluster success... so, im hoping that taking the traffic off of the wireless side and moving it to the wired side would help..

Any suggestions or pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
