Router is a Linksys 1900AC v1

Had a DD-WRT installation go south on me, most likely my fault. I've only done this once before, to a wrt-54g.

Router power and esata lights come on, nothing else, even when an ethernet cable is plugged in. Holding down the reset button does nothing. I was able to connect via USB-> serial using this as a guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZYXKAkuJ5w and was able to get the attached putty output. It hangs at that bottom line and goes no further.

Can someone tell me by looking at this if my router is recoverable or not?

Thank you.

Not sure if it helps but, when I had this happen to a Netgear R7000 I was able to recover via serial interface. The 1900 has a serial interface as shown in this article; https://github.com/Chadster766/McWRT/wiki/Linksys-WRT1900AC-Serial-Port

There are numerous articles regarding recovering a locked router but I assume you have done this before on a 54G.

I had connected to the router serially and this is the output that I got when I turned the router on while connected via putty. I was not able to get any further.

You should be able to manually recover to the alternate partition with the 3x power switch.
Then you can overwrite the bad flash.

I already tried that a number of times.

Did the router reboot to the alternate partition? Or did it just not work?
The timing on the 3x power switch partition swap has to be spot-on.

Try it this way:

Turn OFF. Then turn right back ON.
As soon as Power LED comes on...
Turn OFF. Then turn right back ON.
As soon as Power LED comes on...
Turn OFF. Then right back ON and leave it on.
You should see the router reboot within a minute or two along with correct LED behavior (if it worked).

Sorry for the delay...wired up a connector to get a better connection to the serial port (FYI 3D printer stepper motors use the same white connector, just had to swap 1 wired) and tried a different USB adapter.

Unfortunately, still seeing the same output. Tried the 3x power switch reset a number of times, and no luck. Is this bricked, or can it be fixed by someone with better tools & knowledge than I possess?

Thanks again for your time.

Think your output shows you are connected properly.

There is no option to get the loop broken by a CTRL-X V or ESC or any combination?

Mine had 'similar' bootloop when i bought it (2nd hand).

At a point managed to get the firmware tftpd to it and managed to update both partitions.
Used linksys (?) commands to do this (or was it dd-wrt..unsure which is which).

Sorry don't remember how i got out of this bootloop....
