DD-WRT v3.0-r36527 std [08/09/18]
Linux 3.18.118-rc1 #19442 Thu Aug 9 05:44:52 CEST 2018 mips
GUI install over r36410
No reset.
Switch, ovpn server, USB samba share.
Everything I'm using on here working good...
Both of these units have radios turned off and httpd will crash if going to .../Status_Wireless.asp but comes back in approx 1 min
if try main page. Going to .../Info.htm (status/Sys-Info) you can select ath0 or ath1 .... of course they both say 'Radio is Off'
If have both radio turned on WNDR3700v4 .../Status_Wireless.asp works fine.
EA8500 both radio on .../Status_Wireless.asp it wiill show ---
if select ath1 its all good ---
BUT --- if select ath0 again it will crash httpd and same any further going to .../Status_Wireless.asp will crash httpd
After reboot it will do same thing as described.
I've done this many many times.

DD-WRT v3.0-r36527 std [08/09/18]
Linux 3.10.108-d5 #61193 Thu Aug 9 03:26:47 CEST 2018 mips
Used as a switch, ovpn server, USB Ext2 samba.
All worky ok.
This unit had r36410 so NO firmware would install using GUI.
Had to 'erase linux' & TFTP a known (old firmware) then GUI install r36527 and use backup nvram from r36410.
see ->> https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1136289#1136289
httpd will crash when go to Status/Wireless if radio is disabled.
If radio is turned on Status/Wireless is good plus the new wireless 'Busy Time', 'Active Time', 'Channel Quality'
Note this 160NL has --
<4>[ 0.390000] ->Oops: flash id 0x1c2017 .
WRT160NL units that have--
<4>[ 0.390000] ->Oops: flash id 0xc22017 .
This build will not install on them

create a script called clean-syslog, run at startup:
this script checks /var/log/messages every 3 minutes, deletes any line that contains delete_txt variable..

Thank you so much! The only problem I have is that this filters out the HTTPD spam after it has been written to the log. I have a syslog server and it looks like it is still going to receive all this crap. I have to actually set up my notification scripts to ignore log levels 4 and 5 because these HTTPD errors are classified as errors. _________________ Routing:.......Asus RT-AX88U (Asuswrt-Merlin 384.14) Switching:....Netgear GS608_V3 & GS605_V4, TrendNet TEG-S82G & TEG-S50G

Thank you so much! The only problem I have is that this filters out the HTTPD spam after it has been written to the log. I have a syslog server and it looks like it is still going to receive all this crap. I have to actually set up my notification scripts to ignore log levels 4 and 5 because these HTTPD errors are classified as errors.
yes, script cleans after its been written.. _________________ NETGEAR R9000 | RT | 40134 NETGEAR R7800 | AP | 40134
