Hi everybody, I have a tech question refering wireless transfer speeds.
Been running DD-WRT on a TP-Link WDR3600 N600 (dual band 2x2) for a couple of years. (no issues at all)

I just got a new notebook with an 802.11AC intel card and I get 300mbps link speed on the both bands (2.4GHz and 5.6GHz). But only about 9MB/s transfer speeds (72mbps) from my NAS (over 70MB/s if y do the same over gigabit wired)

I don't know if this is what it's expected or if I should try to change some setings (on the router or wireless card)

Thanks!

Router: TPLINK TL-WDR3600 v1
Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (05/30/15) std

Notebook: ASUS vivobook S
Wi-Fi: Intel(R) DualBand Wireless-AC 8265

well...data to usb those speeds are slow...especially on this router that has slow CPU as transferring data over wi-fi is quite CPU demanding...
to max your AC card you need much better router with real AC
support look for R7800
