WRT3200ACM vs. Nodemcu/ESP8266

i flashed my WRT3200ACM with the latest Version of DD-WRT, so far so good.

Code:
DD-WRT v3.0-r36247 std (06/29/18)

My only problem is, my esp8266 can´t connect, i´ve tried everything, yes i used the "search" and google but no chance Sad

is there a fix? anybody solved this issue?

There is an open issue with Marvell to fix this, so I would recommend following that issue (its a chipset issue, not a DD-WRT issue) - https://github.com/kaloz/mwlwifi/issues/298

This has been noted and is a problem which can be worked around, as noted by another user, by using the ATH2 wireless. I personally have tested this and it works well for esp8266 devices. The only downside is that the ATH2 radio runs at reduced output and has limited range. I was able to connect a number of Sonoff temperature sensors up to about 200 feet and IP cameras also. However because I use 2 x WRT1900ac's as remote clients I chose to have them handle my 2.4Ghz devices and have disabled both ATH1 and ATH2 on my 3200 which is being used as my primary DHCP and internet router. Incidentally I am running r36247 on all three routers so I can confirm that it is not DD-WRT related but rather a hardware fault with the 3200 radios.

Did some playing around and was able to connect all my Sonoff devices after turning off WMM support. Unfortunately my cameras would no longer connect. I turned WMM back on and amazingly all devices now connect properly and don't drop out. I can't explain this phenomena but it works. I suspect that because the esp8266 devices are legacy that wmm will cause no connects, but if a connection is established without wmm the router seems to remember and subsequent re-enabling allows connection.

Was there some specific settings you need for Ath2 to get it to work with the 8266? I can't get it to work with any of my dozen 8266. I have the following settings.

BG-Mixed
Full (20MHZ)
With WPA2 Personal

Thanks.
