It looks like it was delivered, although it could have just been handed off to another carrier.
I notified Brainslayer and am waiting for his confirmation. _________________ DD-WRT Installation & Setup TUTORIAL http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311117

UPDATE: Still no WRT32X. I opened a request through eBay on July 4th. They opened case # 5173813330.
The seller actually had the nerve to respond (I'm quoting here): "please close ebay dispute first, then i will check it. ok?"
It looks like no one else got their WRT32X either, according to the negative feedbacks.
Ebay has given the seller until July 10th to resolve the dispute and then they will step in on July 11th.
Anyway, as soon as I get the refund I'll cover the difference and order a WRT32X from Amazon. What I should have done in the first place
I'm not sure how long it takes for eBay to issue a refund, but if I don't have it by the end of July - I'll just order the WRT32X when I get paid on the 1st of August.

In a typical paypal dispute, you can expect on average about 3 weeks to a month to get your money back in hand. Unless something extra ordinary happens and they side in your favor out of the gate (like large waves of negative feedback, identifying a scam account). Even then, there is process that needs to be followed, which takes time.

I'm sure I'm not the only person to open a dispute, which should help speed things up. They've only received 1 positive feedback and honestly, I think that was by accident. The comments are all negative.

After seeing the recent interest in these I ordered one from a different ebay vendor also "listed" from China . I then received a notice from eBay stating that they banned the seller but if my item was in transit or if I already received it NOT to worry, LOL. When it didn’t arrive on time I opened a case and less than 10 minutes later I received an email advising me that eBay closed the case and I was issued a refund. In my situation it appears the seller was also spoofing the tracking info, or that’s how read it. If you look at the first line in my image you’ll see what I mean. I also called ebay for a follow-up and was told my seller's account was hacked so that would explain the low transaction history with the low + feedback. If you think about targeting unused or abandoned accounts is perfect for hackers. I wouldn't be surprised if your seller and my seller were one in the same or the same group...

That sucks! Sorry you had to go through all that, but it's nice to see that eBay resolved it so quickly.
Did you ever get a WRT32X?
A short time after my last post I was still pissed off at the seller for asking me to close the dispute before he would look into my order. So, I called eBay and spoke with a very nice rep. who reassured me "we've got your back".
I made her aware of the other recent negative feedback and that the original ad said: 'ships from USA' as well as his bullsh*t request.
As a formality I still need to give the seller until Wednesday July 11th. The good news is after she looked into everything I was told I'll be getting a refund soon after and the seller will most likely be banned.

Lotta shady people out there...
Yes there are. I answered a too good to be true ad for a wrt3200acm back when I was still stupid enough to want one. Again seller had several, but no history with Ebay. Thought could be a scam, but have been surprised in the past on Ebay. Figured with Ebay's policy I was safe. Sure enough no communications from the seller even when pinged. Put in a refund request with Ebay and after their attempt to contact the seller and got no response refunded my money. Knowing what I know now, I should have taken that as a sign not to bother with one.

eBay already closed the case and the refund is on its way. As soon as I get paid at the end of the month I'll add my donation to the refund and order a WRT32X from Amazon.
Sorry for the delay. I'll update with Order Status and Tracking Info as soon as I have them.
Take a look at how hard this douche bag tried to get me to screw myself by closing the dispute before he would do anything. _________________ DD-WRT Installation & Setup TUTORIAL http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311117

What a waste.... I typically stay away from eBay these days because of stuff like this. Granted you can still find good deals, sometimes just not worth the risk for something that may smell like fish.
Some things I normally do to qualify a purchase or sale I will make is:
1. Obviously I stay away from 0 feedback accounts. I don't care to be the initial investment for someone who is just starting on eBay (the typical argument). 10+ feed backs or I pass.
2. Check when their last feedback was. If you see someone selling or bidding on an item, especially electronics, who's last feedback was in 2009 or something. You can rest assured it's a compromised account, again, not worth the risk.
3. Check the shipping address if you sold something. Sometimes you will catch funny address off the west coast, like RK-S103 Oregon yada yada, means they are using a forwarding company to then have it shipped over seas. While I haven't been burned by one of those yet, I have heard stories of "lost packages" ending in "charge backs". In my opinion, if it makes it to the eBay destination address, my commitment is done. Not if it makes it to you in Vietnam.
4. Just check the spelling and grammar. Super easy to spot someone from overseas.
5. Check their location, and item location. That with grammar will let you know something is up.
6. Price! If it's too good to be true, it is!
Thanks for seeing this through. Hopefully you haven't donated the rest of the pot already to the project, but regardless, thanks for picking up the slack to get this done. More than 1 person will be thankful, I am sure. I know I got two in the basement waiting.....

No need for thanks. I am happy to see this through. After all I'm the one who chose this asshat so it's on me.
Still got the $35.01 left over from the eBay purchase to add to the refund. When the refund hits my PayPal account I'll transfer balance to my checking account that I have on file with Amazon.

Amazon 'owed' me a shipping upgrade from a previous order of mine that got screwed up. I cashed it in on this order. The WRT32X should get to Brainslayer this Friday. _________________ DD-WRT Installation & Setup TUTORIAL http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311117
