After power off and power on Linksys ea6900 bricked

Hello everyone.

There is a long time I have a problem with my Linksys EA6900 router. Every time I need to turn it off and turn it on shows ping ttl=100 (bricked). And then, I have to do a 30-30-30 and return a backup and it works again.

How do I avoid this problem?

If you did not change the cfe to the xvortex one, the device has two firmware "slots" so one of those may be corrupt so it doesn't boot, so I would recommend to flash the firmware again according the ea6900 install instructions so you should have running ddwrt on both slots.

I did the cfe update with this file and then updated with the firmware that I was using. And it worked!

You're welcome. Were did you get the cfe from? As far as I know, the cfe collection project is dead.
I have a EA6900 as well so I am happy to find one to check mine against because I thought once that my cfe might be corrupt.
