Archer C9 v3 Questions

Hello,

I just had a couple of questions about the Archer C9 v3. Right now the device has DDWRT 3.0 beta flashed onto it. I am looking to revert back to stock.

I understand the procedure to get the router to connect to a TFTP server, however when it loaded the stock firmware bin, it simply reboots back into DDWRT.

I saw a post about how the DDWRT bin altered the partitions. I also saw a post with the two file "modem.bin and firmware.bin" I believe those two were for the v1 archer c9.

Does anyone know if I can follow that procedure with my v3? and is the serial(console) mod the only way to revert back to stock?
