Hi all -

I have the Netgear WNDR3700v3. I recently got an upgrade to my internet speed and get around 230 mbps directly connected to the modem. When directly connected to the router the speed hits a maximum of 95-100 mbps.

Is they anything in the build that could be driving this? I've got all cat 6 wires.

Thanks

Do you have a k3x build, and if so, is SFE enabled?

Install 36079 k3x (nv64k), save an nvram backup, `erase nvram && reboot` from telnet/ssh, then make sure SFE is enabled (it's the default) and manually set up.

Note; my WNDR4000 (same as the 3700v3) GUI reset doesn't work on recent builds; I had to `erase nvram`. I also found after resetting that only IE could access the http initial login page; but after setting a password, FF and Edge worked fine.

Do you flash directly from the GUI then do 30/30/30 still? I added DD WRT back in 2014 and its been running ever since. So this is a bit of a welcome back party at this point.
