If I were going to consider paying for any features being added to dd-wrt builds, it would not be for IPsec.

But I would consider paying for a more complete easy to use logging system. Twisted Evil

But that's only Kong builds right? I just got my hands on an RT-AC87U, but there is no Kong build for that model so no IPSEC option? I really need an IPSEC server option so I can remote into my home network using my iOS devices while travelling.

If you can point me to as simple and easy guide that would be great. Everytime I try to figure it out I get stuck just trying to deal with where and how to generate the certificates easily from a Windows system. Every few months I look into it, get about 45 minutes into reading different directions and trying install software to setup certs and then I get frustrated and have to deal with other things.

IPSEC on Kong is super easy to setup, though.
