This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 36104_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build.

Router/Version:  Linksys E4200 v1
Firmware:  DD-WRT v3.0-r36104 mega ( 06/10/18 )
Kernel:  Linux 3.10.108-d2 #19520 Sun Jun 10 15:40:36 CEST 2018 mips
Previous:DD-WRT v3.0-r36079 mega ( 06/01/18 )
Firmware file used:dd-wrt.v24-36104_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega-e4200.bin
Reset;No
Mode: Gateway/AP
Status: OK
Issues/Errors: None yet, other than ntp / syslog times are still askew if I set time zone to anything other than Zulu (see attached syslog from reboot)

EDIT: I don't know how to track it down, but I have to disconnect/turn off wi-fi on the Win10v1803 desktop and reconnect/turn on wi-fi about every hour, which coincides with the key renewal interval. I'm guessing Windows WPA2 re-keying is a bit buggy, or that is part of the nas problem(?) No crashes or anything yet.

EDIT#2: 5GHz / wi-fi seems to be a little more stable today, only had to cycle wifi on-off-on and ipconfig /renew on Windows desktop once. Will continue to monitor.

EDIT#3: And as soon as I posted my last edit, had to cycle wi-fi .... SMH.

Miscellaneous:
- WiFi broken in k3.x editions since build 35531 for modes other than AP?
- 5GHz problem can be solved by adding delay in init process?

Old problems:
a. DDNS (inadyn) crashed in build 31722
b. Testing port-forwarding via WAN IP from within LAN not working in builds 34411-34760. Needed external proxy server.
c. NTP client not working in builds 34886-34876,35034 (affecting process_monitor?)
d. The ping to www.google.com increased from 2ms to 13ms after setting a defunct
WINS server in Setup->Basic Setup->DHCP->WINS (also something related to blank Source Net?)
e. The "Source Net" field in Port-Forwarding screen displayd blank field as "¸ÖÁv",
from builds 32667 to 32767. Possibly null-pointer assignment?
f. Blank Source Net in Port Forwarding cripped WAN in builds 35831-35874! Needed to be "0.0.0.0/0" or no internet!
g. Running "cat /proc/mtd" in Administration -> Commands for builds before 35916 didn't escape HTML special characters.

dd-wrt.v24-36104_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega.bin fails to flash on WNDR4000 after i execute the write command it just exits me out of ssh, doesnt flash on GUI either it just makes the httpd service hang.

dd-wrt.v24-36079_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega.bin - works fine without issues.

Did you try the dd-wrt.v24-36104_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega-WNDR4000.chk file instead? I'm finding I have more issues upgrading and flashing using non-trailed build files here lately.
