Hello there...

A buddy tried to flash the latest build onto a Linksys WRT600N (v1.1) through the web interface. After rebooting, I can connect both wirelessly and wired (both to the router and to the internet), but we can't get to the web interface (192.168.1.1).

We can telnet into the router and have tried a few things with no luck:

- 30/30/30 (several)
- httpd -h /www
- killall httpd
/usr/sbin/httpd -h /www
- nvram set remote_management=1
nvram set http_wanport=8080
nvram set httpsd_enable=1
nvram set https_enable=1
nvram set remote_mgt_https=1
nvram commit
reboot

We also tried flashing the original stock firmware, but we're getting timeout errors on put via TFTP. I suspected this could be related to the Linksys password, so we also changed the password via telnet to "", but that didn't resolve the put timeout.

Also, the I can't manually set an IP address; have tried with both full manual and DHCP w/manual.

And yes, we've tried http and https in clear cached environments.

Any thoughts/troubleshooting ideas are welcomed.

Thanks!

I have similar situation with my WRT600N

I put thru linksys tftp32 software stock firmware in recovery mode (first few second after turn on router)

important info - tftp32 return info about completed trnasfer but this not true, you must wait about min or some like this - just observe leds on router

on yours computer you must use stable ip like 192.168.1.10, router ip is 192.168.1.1

in cmd window use ping -t 192.168.1.1 after router response (few sec after plug power adaptor) just start flash thru tftp32

I do it many months ago but this should give you info how to revert to stock and back to DDWRT

look attached file with stock fw and tftp
