Well, Speaking for EA-8500 web interface is slow and qos is not working at all even with the page 1 fix, not bad build but cannot be considered stable!

Share screenshots of your setups (anything you changed from defaults) and we'll help you.

Cheers.

sure here!!

See highlight above, as from what Kong said it's not just QoS that screwed up. And oh yeah you may need to reset-to-defaults/erase nvram since 34080

Nvram was the problem, after erasing it and resetting to defaults , Router is flying!! Thank you guys!!! http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest/33418437

Yep glad it worked out. It can be better, as I saw a few issues in your shots like having sfe enabled, custom mtu, wan max down/up not set (netmask priority), etc. Nonetheless here's my setup: https://imgur.com/a/15gOfHt

G'luck.

i dont know how sfe was enabled, to be honest i didnt enabled it by myself, it has been disabled after nvram clear, mtu is the ideal for my ISP, have tested it and its the max one that doesnt fragment packages + vdsl2 overhead, Thank you for your Help my Network is flying now!!

Best build to-date, this should be the new stable build.

Is that Score via Wifi or wired?
If Wired, can you share your QOS settings you are using?
If Wifi, can you try testing via Wired and see what happens with Bufferbloat?

Thats wifi, over 802.11ac, 2016 MBP.

QOS Settings: HFSC, FQ_CODEL, 150000 downlink, 15000 uplink, TCP-Packet Priority ACK SYN FIN RST enabled

I don't have any working systems at home that I can connect wired to the router right now. I had to repurpose the hard drive on the laptop I typically use for ethernet connections. Once I drop in a new HD, I'll gladly rerun.

Weird. Kong released test builds with new dates 05/18 and 05/19 for both atheros and broadcom but the files are exactly the same/md5, at least for my r7500v2. Not sure what happened there...

for EA 8500 is different file, new one is r35965 and seems somehow better than old one, web interface is not lagging that much now but havent tested it for long time tho.

Hi,

Was wondering whats the difference in this branch of firmware for the R7800 vs the v3.0 beta 36410 build which is a whole lot larger in size?

Features missing at all?

Thanks
