The current goal amount of $193.41 is the cheapest I was able to find it that included shipping to Germany.
Goal amount is subject to change as Amazon's prices and shipping charges varies from day to day.
Current amount raised as of June 16 @ 1130 UTC: $125.00
If the price decreases after our goal is reached or I am able to find a cheaper alternative - I will donate the remaining funds to the DD-WRT Project.
If the price should increase - I'll cover it.
All receipts and documentation will be posted publicly here in this Thread.
Thank you!

I think this is an excelent idea, i will do my 2 cents.
Also, if it helps, I must say that I bought mine Refurbished but Certified and sold directly by Linksys, and saved me some good money, currently Linksys is seeling them at 149.99, not sure about shipping, but might worth checking
Currently their listing is https://www.ebay.com/itm/302616879262
Front time to time it goes down as they get out of stock but in a few days they have more and it comes up again.
Hope it helps!
Btw, i wasnt aware they have a "black edition", but it looks nice !!!

150+50 and we are almost the same as the amazon, i'd say wait a few days and see how fast we can reach the 200mark and see from there, I wouldnt bother taking the time to get it yourself and then reship just for the sake of saving 15 or 20

<Kong> had issues with them in the past. ask him all about it.
That's why I prefer to use Amazon. With them, it's already taken care of.
If I were to ship a WRT32X myself there's forms to fill out and a decent chance I could screw something up... _________________ DD-WRT Installation & Setup TUTORIAL http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311117

Why continue the pain and suffering?
Both Netgear and Asus have much better offerings.
Netgear r7800 support by dd-wrt
Asus RT-AC86U supported by RMerlin.
Both better solutions then what Belkin/Linksysys/Marvell have to offer.

For me, there has been no pain and suffering.
The WRT32X is the first new router I've purchased in a long time.
I bought the WRT1900AC v1 when it first came out and she has been running like a dream ever since I slapped DD-WRT on her. More specifically - 31924.
I'm also a big fan of the dual-partition.
However, I'm sure i would have a different attitude if I had been through all the trial-and-error of the WRT3200ACM over the past 3 years,
All you guys who got one when they were new, paved the way to the place we are today. Builds are getting better and more stable.
-Thank you!
It is my hope that by getting Brainslayer a WRT32X - we can avoid most of the major headaches you all have suffered with the WRT3200ACM. _________________ DD-WRT Installation & Setup TUTORIAL http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311117

Nice your experience with the wrt1900ac v1 has been good. That is what I started with when starting down the WRT rat hole. The wrt3200acm was not ready from a 3rd party standpoint when it came out and took until now to finally get something that works and still is lacking some of the features. Belkin/Linksys/Marvell should be ashamed of the lack of support they have provided the 3rd party developers, especially when they put on the side of the box Openwrt and dd-wrt ready. Do not want to encourage them any longer with purchases. Since the wrt32x is just a wrt3200 with a different firmware load, no difference in hardware, you can have the same with a can of black spray paint.
Both the r8000 and ac86u are faster in my iperf tests. The r8000 runs well with dd-wrt and the ac86u with RMerlin. Sold the wrt3200 to someone who knew what he was getting into and have not put the wrt1900ac v1 or wrt1900acs on ebay because I do not want to inflect pain and suffering on some poor unsuspecting person. Between having a r8000 and ac86u I have no reason to have the WRT's on my network.

True, I sent <Kong> a message when the 3200ACM came out to see if we could get money to him, his response:
Hi Anthony,
I have not asked linksys for a unit as I'm not super interested in it. I think linksys would probably send me one if I ask. Whenever I asked I got something:-)
Maybe I ask them for the WRT32X, should be almost identical to the 3200ACM.
There is just one thing right now that keeps me from working with these too much, the drivers are still too bad and marvels development speed is more a crawl then a race.
And this shitty driver makes my builds look bad and there is pretty much nothing I can do as it more closed source to me than broadcom or atheros.
So, I don't think he asked for a 32X either. _________________ Tutorial for flashing WRT series WRT Installation,Upgrade & Basic Setup–Cliff Notes

Brainslayer told me that Linksys sent him (6) WRT3200ACM's about 6 months before they were released to the general public.
Nothing on the WRT32X.
When I get paid next week I'll put at least $40 in the WRT32X donation pool. I'll have to use my mother's PayPal account.
Apparently you can't donate to your own pool.
Hopefully other WRT32X owners will be more encouraged to donate when they see some movement and realize that this is a serious effort. _________________ DD-WRT Installation & Setup TUTORIAL http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311117
