I can't find the stock to dd-wrt firmware build. It is missing from the main website and I can't find it on my hard drive (it seems to have gone missing and windows search doesn't help).

I am using Linksys 1900AC WRT version 1.

I want to convert my stock back to dd-wrt build. Thanks for the help.

What build are you looking for?

The recommended build for the WRT1900AC v1 as well as the 'return to stock' build are here:
https://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311836

If you’re looking for another specific build, let me know. I have many of them saved. I can upload if you wish.

This are all .bin files. The files need to be .img format if I want to convert back to dd-wrt from stock.

Says who? You? Don't listen to us who have done it then. Keep waiting.

I think I know what happened...I'm assuming that you got your WRT1900AC v1 with DD-WRT already installed.

You can flash the factory-to-ddwrt.bin from the Linksys GUI. That's how everyone gets DD-WRT on their router the first time.
Just ignore the Invalid File Type warning.

Read the top link in my signature. It has all the information and links you need.

I got Linksys stock firmware installed. The install firmware to change from default firmware to dd-wrt is missing from the website as you can see here.

I can't change back because I upgraded from the original install when I changed from dd-wrt to linksys firmware. I want to change back but I can't find the image file to do so.

Download the factory-to-ddwrt.bin located here:
ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2018/05-13-2018-r35927/linksys-wrt1900ac/

From Linksys GUI, upgrade Firmware. You'll be fine...I promise Mr. Green

Ignore it and hit' Yes'. Give it about 90 seconds and then re-navigate to 192.168.1.1

This did work but it took a little longer than I expected.
