I supposed the method for installing is use the management web page and browse for
the image file and upload it. Is there any other procedure for the firmware upload..?
We have WISP on San Juan P.R. we are using dd/wrt on our Router CPE. Thanks BrainSlayer for your work. The firmware on the download section for litestation2 is the same for litestation5
Hy l.santiago, can you provide us more information please?
Such as:
- you upgraded your ls2, but how? Through the original Ubiquiti's web config? If yes, which version of Ubiquiti's firmware did you have before the upgrade to dd-wrt?
- is it possible to select all channel spacing (5,10,20,40MHz)?
- which is the soft lack (if exist) of dd-wrt on ls2 compared to a standard, e.g., Linksys installation?
- is it possible to utilize all the ls2's tx power?
- is it stable?
Sebastian told me that we could telnet redboot from port no. 9000 and upload it but we have 2.5 seconds to do this and I have no idea about the IP address of redboot on LS2, could any one find out or tell what it is, may be we could write a new procedure for LS2 and post it on wiki so that in future no one has problems .
