command line update with write failed.
hacking an intel image in with dd worked.

My work around is to use your method that you used to put the dd-wrt on the boot drive in the first place. Then use the files not labeled as web upgrades for the version your using. I use a program in windows to write out the latest image to the dd-wrt boot drive. I just write over the old image which keeps the nvram intact.

Also I do not know what caused it. I did experience where the DD-WRT system went down completely to where I had to power cycle it to bring it back up this only happened 1 time. This is on r35927.
