as Turris Omnia is a private project i really doubt they will leave the door open for other 3 rd party router software to take advantage of their hardware...
In general their idea is to create a quite versatile and unique router as well there is a new approach in router's firmware update process, very different from the other routers on the market...
P.S. "XTC0r" what is wrong with their stock firmware that you want DD-WRT on it ?? _________________ Atheros

The interface is dog sh%t and DNS resolving doesn't work. Did anybody get DD-WRT working on it? ...and yes it completely open source. I asked them if other builds would work and they said there was certainly nothing stopping it.

well, at first glance T.O. looked with great specs and promising future, however it seems its a another dumb project with shiny marketing and fat price...
if DD-WRT porting is possible someone has to donate unit for porting but its price is still too dear....
i just saw a short clip with its interface and it looked very basic to me its a shame ppl already complain form it and it will be great to see it under DD-WRT's hat... so someone has to do the first step.... _________________ Atheros

Gargoyle supports T.Om. too...its a main favourable replacement, so far...
But, it will be great if BS does DDWRT for it too...
it may become favourable thing...
I missed to buy one, still looking for it....just for the fun of it...
(now scouting for a cheap R9000).. _________________ Atheros

i was working on this device. the problem is just that they made alot of driver and ethernet hacks which would make everything incompatible to the wrt1900ac series
