Hi, R7000 reset settings when the router is turned off. My firmware is Kong ( 3/28/18 ). When the router starts, the settings are default. Can I fix the problem somehow? I'd rather not change the firmware because it suits me best.
When I upload the default Genie firmware. The R7000 keeps settings.
OK??

DD-WRT did not cause your problem
Though if you had read & followed the Peacock Thread part 9. Before playing with Vortex, you'd be in a much better spot right now _________________ Location 1

I could do advice from jwh7. However, I do not have a TTL cable. I do not know where to start. Should I buy a TTL cable? I just expected help from the Forum. I got it fact.

Google dd-wrt serial recovery. I have a link in there for the type of cable to get that works for sure. _________________ I am far from a guru, I'm barely a novice.
