(Using latest Kong build but this is generic) I recorded an overnight tcpdump and corrrelated to DDWRT logs. I was able to find, then 'wireshark' log, then replicate the issue.
In my case, the error is logged on any attempt to use HTTP encapsulation of SSTP (tunneling protocol.)
I suspect that whatever is recording this will record the same error for a number of other legitimate packets.
