Filled in the previous version of the firmware and got a brick, then a new one was poured using a usb-ttl. I did not try to fill in the firmware via the web interface, so I can not say for sure. It is possible and likely will fill normally.
On new firmware nevertheless there were problems with the Internet (http, https) - some sites didn't open. Experiment there was no time, so I've rolled back to version DD-WRT v3.0-r27520M (07/17/15) kong. Play with the settings of TCP Congestion Control. Can scores will be better. I'm using the "reno" setting.

Anyone happen to know what the latest working DD-WRT firmware for this router is?
I'm using this one, but I'm having some port forwarding issues:
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r33525 giga (10/17/17
I'm interested in hearing more about your issues. I recently purchased a WNR3500Lv2 and applied DD-WRT v3.0-r37305 giga (10/10/18) to it and had firewall issues. Once I applied firewall rules, I was unable to pass traffic to it from another router on my network. Even after removing the rules, it would not work. I had to hard reset both routers. If I do not apply any firewall rules to the WNR3500Lv2, everything works as expected. Does this issue sound similar to what you are experiencing?
